My latest piece for Anime UK News is an in-depth guide to the “Odagiri Effect” – where TV shows and other piece of media gain a large number of women followers because the male actors and/or characters are sexually attractive. The article covers Hetalia, Free!, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!, Yuri!!! On Ice, and some non-anime related things such as BBC drama Poldark and novel Fifty Shades of Grey.
